A young couple from Klang recently celebrated their wedding with much aplomb at the Palaces of the Golden Horses, here. R. Jeyenderan, 35, and T. Thamayanthi Thevy, 31, were united in spectacular fashion at the lawn of the hotel, which was decorated with flower arches, bouquets of roses, ice carving of two swans and a 1Malaysia backdrop. The celebrations started with the arrival of the bride and groom on a AS365N Dauphin helicopter. Family members and friends greeted the couple who were then ushered through a beautifully decorated four-pillar arch. The couple received their blessings from family members after performing their wedding rites. More than 800 people attended the wedding. Guests were then treated to local and international cuisine. There were also performances by the Sikh, Indian, Chinese and Malay communities.
